Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Global Talk (the “Service”), an AI-powered travel translation app providing voice translation, conversation mode, text scanning and phrasebooks. The Service is provided by Global Talk (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and account

• You must be of legal age in your country, or have authority to bind the organisation you represent.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

2. Licence and restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. You may not reverse engineer the Service, resell or redistribute it, or circumvent usage limits or technical restrictions.

3. Acceptable use

• No unlawful use, fraud, spam or harassment.
• No infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• No interference with the security of the Service, including malware, probing, or scraping.
• No use of the translation, voice or scanning features to create illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, or to impersonate a real person without consent.

4. AI-generated output

• Translations, transcriptions, scanned text and synthesised speech are produced by automated AI systems and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
• You are responsible for the content you submit, for verifying output before relying on it, and for holding the rights to any text, image or audio you upload.
• Output must not be used as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or emergency advice. Emergency phrases are a convenience feature only.
• We may filter, refuse or remove content and outputs, and may suspend accounts, where use breaches these terms. Rights holders may contact support@travel-speak-magic.lovable.app to request a takedown; repeat infringement leads to account termination.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service, including its software, design, branding and documentation. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Service availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every region or language. Features that depend on third-party AI, speech or device capabilities may vary by device. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans (weekly, monthly, annual and lifetime) are billed in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled, except lifetime access which is a one-time payment. Payment, billing, taxes, currency, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller, as described in the Paddle Buyer Terms. Our refund commitment is set out in our Refund Policy.

8. Order process and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination your right to use the Service ends; you may request an export of your saved history and favourites within 30 days, after which data may be deleted.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

12. General

• You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition.
• Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Global Talk is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
